Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School provides urban kids with the opportunity to learn about God’s love while enjoying the arts, music and each other. Partnering with local churches, CMS creates a safe place for vulnerable and sometimes stressed low-income urban children to have fun during the summer months. In the past, CMS has co-sponsored week-long programs at churches in Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and Allston-Brighton. Utilizing artists from the Youth Arts program, lessons from the Bible are woven throughout the week’s activities. With a heavy emphasis on fun, the program works with kids from six to twelve years old, as they explore their creativity.
