YPE Summer of Peace offers:
- Cook-outs
- Sports and Recreation
- “Teen Cafés”: youth-hosted discussions, guest speakers, youth performers, and community gatherings, music and performances
- Movie Nights
- Basketball Tournament
- Interpersonal Skills
- Violence Reduction
- Community Involvement
- Saturdays in July: Basketball Clinics 12-2 pm at Malcom X Park, Dorchester

Demand Peace Community Walks
6:00-8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: July 14 and August 11 from Project R.I.G.H.T., Inc., 320A Blue Hill Avenue (on the corner of Lawrence Ave & Blue Hill Ave. July 28 and August 25 from Deliverance Temple Church, 232 Columbia Road (near Devon Street).
National Night Out Boston 2010
National Night Out Boston 2010 is the 27th annual citywide celebration to unify our communities throughout the City of Boston. This program cultivates and strengthens partnerships between the community, youth, polic, city agencies and community-based organiations. National Night Out also seeks to increase participation in crime watch programs among local residents.
Monday, August 2 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Lilla G. Frederick Pilot Middle School, 270 Columbia Road.
