Group Volunteering
If you are part of a church or other group that wishes to do a service project please fill out a Group Registration Form. All group volunteers will be directed to programs through Carl McDonald, Director of the Boston Urban Outreach program.
Boston Urban Outreach
The Boston Urban Outreach Program requires adult supervisors for overnight activities for church youth groups. BUO provides an overnight learning and service experience allowing youth from congregations all over the area to work and worship together.
Adult/Mentor Responsibilities:
- Supervise youth (overnight at local church if necessary)
- Accompany youth to service placements
Skills Required:
- Experience working with youth from various backgrounds
- Flexibility
- Enthusiasm
- Organizational skills
