A Lift Up
A Lift Up assists female-headed households in the city of Boston who are at risk of becoming homeless. Participants work with a case manager for up to a year to identify and achieve goals that will enable them to stabilize their housing. They hold monthly individual and group meetings on topics such as income maximization, financial literacy, parenting, and employment. In addition, flexible funding is available to meet unanticipated expenses. Participants benefit from referrals to outside agencies, such as health care, childcare, housing search, entitlement programs, etc. In addition, participants can benefit from access to in-kind donations such as clothing and toys through the CMS Christmas Shop program. To learn more about this program please contact ENN Director Alison Coleman-Hardy, LICSW.
